Honestly it’s like the most intense, intimate thing you can do. there’s one or so person with whom i’ve been able to sustain real eye conact with, and it was just a CRAZY  intense feeling.  It’s super intese feeling, and I feel like there’ just SO MUCH information flooding into my brain that it just doesn’t even want to do. I still feel like everyone must find it intense, i mean, it inly really happens in film and tv between two close lovers, often right before a make out sesh or proposal.  Or is that not eye contact, but actually ‘gazing into one anothers eyes’. if that’s what it is, then just know what what happens when we look into your eyes. its cray cray for real. I feel like i end up explaining to the normies in understandable language how a lot of autistic people feel but struggle to express. I think this is at least partially why i’m in ALL of the autism studies. Just. ALL OF THEM
